"Smash Hits" Video

“Shouting At Wildlife is a thrilling, uplifting and generally all-round spiffing combination of indie-pop skills, lyrical wit, and choruses sung through smiles.” THE SKINNY **** (4 stars)

“This debut is packed with singalong melodies, frisky jangles and a real sense of purpose, with ‘Left and Right’ and the
joyous ‘Smash Hits’ reminiscent of the best bits of Bis or The Shop Assistants. A jubilant and skilful racket.” THE LIST **** (4 stars)

“Once in a while a band comes along that just makes your heart sing – Abba, The B-52s, The Housemartins. All created gloriously melodic pop that filled you to bursting with happiness. Kid Canaveral do the same. If there’s one album you buy this year by a band you don’t know, then this should be the one.” DAILY RECORD

“Kid Canaveral have understood that what makes an album are great songs that all stand on their own merits, that are individual and flow together. Here we have twelve distinct songs that showcase the band’s distinctive way with a tune.” SEVENTEEN SECONDS BLOG **** 1/2 (4 and half stars)

“Shouting at Wildlife’ is, in the best tradition of the Undertones, a real treat packed from start to finish with sublime pop tunes.” MANIC POP THRILLS ***** (5 stars)
